Discover silent retreats, quiet days and professional development events in Asia that are rooted in contemplative Christian spirituality. The facilitators of these retreats are spiritual directors who have completed the two year Spiritual Direction Formation Programme run by Spiritual Growth Ministries in Aotearoa, New Zealand.

What can be promoted on the the SGM Asia Retreat/Event Calendar?

  • Contemplative retreats (in person or online)

  • Quiet days

  • Practice circles

  • Contemplative workshops

  • Contemplative online programmes or wisdom schools

  • Professional development offerings for spiritual directors (regional and national)

Basically any offering that is group-focused, has a specific date and venue (Zoom is fine) and would serve the contemplative or spiritual direction community in Asia is likely to be accepted.
