Support the work of Spiritual Growth Ministries (SGM)

As a charitable non-profit trust we depend on the generosity of people like you who share our commitment to fostering contemplative spirituality in Aotearoa New Zealand.

SGM is committed to producing our twice-yearly contemplative journal, Refresh and our annual digital Calendar, which lists contemplative events and retreats throughout New Zealand. These resources rely on donations and we do incur significant costs in production and postage.

We are also passionate about offering a quality formation programme for spiritual directors in New Zealand. Your giving helps us to provide financial support for those who demonstrate a sense of call to the ministry of spiritual direction, but who cannot afford to pay the programme fees to train. Each July we run an Annual Appeal. In 2024 we invite donations towards our Innovation and Development Fund as we develop three strategic initiatives. Learn more here and donate below.

How to Donate

1. Give via online banking to Spiritual Growth Ministries
   03-0166-0198782-00. Add your name and town in reference line, and Refresh, Annual Appeal , Alumni Fund or in particulars depending on what you are donating to.

2. Donate using credit card via Donorbox on this page. Select one of the set amount buttons on Donorbox, or specify a particular amount using the blank box below these buttons. You can choose to make a one-time, monthly, quarterly or annual donation. Please click into the box next to ‘Write us a comment’ and write Refresh, Annual Appeal, Alumni Fund or General. You will receive a donations receipt by email.

3. Make a bequest to Spiritual Growth Ministries in your will.
